The journal 'Global Social Policy' calls for articles.
Global Social Policy is a fully peer-reviewed journal that advances understandings of social policy, social development, social and health governance, gender and poverty, social welfare, education, employment, and food, and the advantages and disadvantages of globalisation, from transnational and global perspectives. The journal publishes scholarly and policy-oriented articles that address global social policy discourse, and practice as well as transnational flows of capital, people, and policies including the diffusion of ideas.

The Global Social Policy (GSP) Digest has been produced under the editorship of Alexandra Kaasch with support from the University of Bremen Centre for Social Policy Research and the Balsillie School of International Affairs. This edition discusses issues like the job crisis (particularly youth unemployment), inequality, and the end of the Millennium Development Goals (MDG) process and the future development agenda (namely defining the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS), and migration, and it includes sections on Global Social Policies (redistribution, regulation, rights), Global Social Governance, International Actors and Social Policy (health, social protection, education, food, habitat-land-housing). Call for Support of an online petition The editors of the "Global Social Policy" journal. Gerry Boychuk, Rianne Mahon, and Stephen McBride are trying to secure the addition of global social policy. According to the constitution of the ISA, this requires, amongst other things, submitting an online petition with the names of no less than 100 ISA members in good standing. more >
